Diminished Frequencies by Joel Ford
The set of images contained in this book are a visual documentation of minicab offices in London, England. They are are a kind of living anachronism, markers of time passing, slowly disappearing from the urban landscape, victims of the relentless technological progress that defines our age.
Bolted on to the sides of other buildings as an architectural after thought, plonked down in the middle of the pavement on a high street or tacked on to the end of a pre-existing wall. They are a part of the fabric of the city. For how long is anyone’s guess.
